Why we love it
This rich vanilla paste is so handy; with a blend of real vanilla extract and vanilla seeds suspended in mineral water and glucose, it can simply be spooned or drizzled into your recipes; no need to scrape the seeds out of a whole vanilla pod. Vanilla Man’s quality vanilla paste makes a great dressing or glaze, and goes well with savoury dishes as well as desserts.

Due to the 12-14% alcohol content, vanilla paste is preserved naturally and does not need to be refrigerated. Store in a cool dry place. Shelf life: 2 years.
Recipe for Vegan Vanilla Pancakes:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup vanilla almond milk/ soy milk
- 1Tbsp sugar
- 2tsp Vanilla Man Vanilla Paste
- 2Tbsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1Tbsp coconut oil
- 1Tbsp unsweetened applesauce
Method:
- Turn griddle to medium heat.
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder & salt in a large bowl
- Combine the vanilla milk, vanilla paste, coconut oil & applesauce in a separate bowl. Add to the dry mixture.
- Stir until just combined with no lumps.
- Spoon the batter into a hot pan, greased with a little coconut oil. Cook on both sides until the batter starts to bubble, & edges start to brown.
- Serve topped with real maple syrup & a sprinkling of vanilla powder.

This is not so much a paste as a slimy jelly. It's difficult to get the right amount out of the jar as it slides off the spoon. It isn't as concentrated as I would have expected from a vanilla paste, so you have to use more, making it not cost effective. It has a strong alcohol smell and taste, and the vanilla actually takes time to come through. It is better than the VM vanilla extract, but sadly I wouldn't recommend either.
It is absolutely brilliant. Perfect remedy to keep our bees outside. Put some paste daily for a week no more bees inside and NO harm to our precious bees
I was very excited when I bought this as I LOVE real vanilla (I usually use vanilla powder if I can get) ....I added a half a spoonful to my cereal and I couldn't taste any vanilla, just a funny other unpleasant taste. I licked the spoon - mostly alcohol. I then read the ingredients...mostly vanilla extract (with alcohol), water, glucose, etc and only 3 percent vanilla seeds. Not a paste, just thickened extract only for cooking I guess
I bought this for Christmas baking and it was so much easier (and cheaper) than scraping vanilla beans. You do need more than it says on the jar for good vanilla flavour but all in all I was very happy with this product.
I really enjoy these vanilla products. Pure products with awesome flavour. You only need very little of the paste, so a bottlelasts a long time
