Recipe for Chocolate Oat Clusters:
Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2Tbsp ButtaNutt Chocolate Macadamia Nut Butter
  • 2Tbsp milk or nut milk
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips or carob chips

Method:

  • Line a baking sheet with wax paper & set aside.
  • Place peanut butter, milk & chocolate chips in a saucepan; cook over low heat until chips melt (about 3 minutes).
  • Stir in the oats; remove the mixture from heat.
  • Using a spoon, drop ball-shaped portions of the mixture onto your baking sheet.
  • Leave the clusters to set in refrigerator for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Not exactly very decadent or chocolatey. It makes for a lovely spread when you're trying to lower your sugar intake but the cravings are too much!
Delicious snack butta..... I love dipping my apple into it as a snack because it's extremely filling and really healthy, although one can get carried away on eating the whole lot. I love it and I love that the chocolate is dark and not sweet. Deliciously decadent!
It's just ok. I bought it based on the rave reviews here. But it didn't live up to the hype. It is extremely runny - pouring consistency - which makes it hard to use. It's very claggy in texture and taste (the nut butter), and the chocolate is bitter, rather than just dark. (And I love dark choc.) The 'hint of honey' they mention is well hidden. All in all, it's just rather disappointing. I've put in in the fridge to thicken up, but I won't be rushing to buy another.
Okay, so grab a banana, slice it in half and spread this thickly on top. Munch away while thinking you've found heaven. Finish by scooping some extra out with a teaspoon and enjoy it for a bit longer :)
Bought this as part of a birthday gift for a friend and she ate the entire jar in a week haha! In her words "it's dangerously good!"
