Kefir Foods was established in March 1970 in Humansdorp in the Eastern Cape, and is very well known for their exceptionally high quality butter (for which they have won countless national awards over the last 46 years). When demand for fresh milk seemed to be dropping, Kefir Foods turned their attention to the rising trend of dairy adjacent products, and the Kefir Kits, Kefir Cultured Milk, Lactose Free Milk and Cheese and other new formulations were born.
