Directions:
- Wash hair as normal and rinse thoroughly
- Instead of conditioner, Pure Simple recommends a vinegar rinse to restore natural pH balance to hair and scalp
- Use 1 tablespoon of vinegar to 1 cup of water (Use 2 tablespoons, in 2 cups of water for very long hair)
- Rinse finally with water to remove the vinegar rinse
- Dry and style as normal
Vinegar rinse tips:
- Apple cider vinegar is a good all round choice, suitable for all hair types
- Dark, grape vinegar is excellent for darker, brunette hair
- Lemon juice is a recommended alternative to vinegar for fair blonde hair

I love the Pure Simple Shampoo Bar, this is the first time I'm using the Rosmery tea one tho and it is drying out my hair. Great for oilyer hair but not for normal hair.
Great 'shampoo' bar. I have been trying to go shampoo-free for a few months and this has given me the best results. I can already extend my wash by an extra day and hope to extend it more and more with time. The bar lathers up plenty enough for my below shoulder-length hair. Sometimes I do need to repeat if it's extra dirty/sweaty. It does have a waxy (kind of squeeky) feel immediately after rinsing, but this is gone once dry. Sometimes I use the apple cider vinegar rinse but not always. Leaves my hair clean and soft and feeling moisturized (no need for conditioner but I use some argan oil on the ends every now and then). I expect it will last a long time, so it's really good value! Love it!
Happy with how easy the bar is to use and how well it lathers and seems to be lasting. But not sure if my hair is going through an adjustment period, despite me using an organic liquid shampoo prior to switching, or if this bar is not suited for my hair type, because my hair is really greasy and I have to wash it daily now. Also now have dandruff, which I didn't have with my organic liquid shampoo. Nevertheless, for the sake of plastic free and in the interest of giving this a good go, will finish the bar and see if my hair improves.
I love this shampoo bar, its so easy to use, has no nasty chemical and I also have peace of mind knowing my am reducing my carbon foot print by not using plastic bottles
It smells strongly of castile soap, but larthers and cleans well. I have been looking for a no-plastic option and this works well.
