Why we love it

If you prefer to wear a panty liner each day or just during your period, or when travelling, it makes sense to choose a panty liner that is made only from plastic-free, non-chlorine bleached natural materials. Many gynaecologists have advised women with sensitive skin to use natracare products to reduce their contact with chlorine-bleached materials, and products containing synthetics and super absorbents made from petrochemicals. None of the liners have any added fragrances.

Description

The liners are made from only certified organic 100% cotton and are the only fully certified organic cotton tampons available in the world today. Certified organic cotton removes the risk of direct exposure to residues from chemical pesticides and fertilisers used on traditional cotton. They are not chlorine bleached and are free of rayon, plastics and other similar synthetic materials that have a negative impact on our environment. They are comfortable and reliable and available in different styles to suit your needs. The original breathable liner is made so that the skin is kept cool and dry, an especially important consideration for women. The Tanga is great for using with a G-string and has the option of being used with or without the wings.

Did You Know?
Rayon is commonly chlorine-bleached, and is a highly absorbent fibre. Dioxin, a toxic carcinogen, is a by-product of all chlorine bleaching methods and is also found throughout the environment in varying levels as a by-product of pesticide spraying and pollution from incinerators. Dioxin has been found to collect in the fatty tissues of animals, including humans and should, therefore, be a real concern for women. Published scientific reports have shown that evidence is growing that even low levels of dioxins may be linked to cancer, endometriosis, low sperm counts and immune system suppression. Considering a woman may use as many as 11,000 tampons in her lifetime, she may be subjecting herself to additional dioxin exposure.

I really like that these liners are non-toxic and organic. Make sure you wear them with the right type of underwear. For example, cotton briefs with lots of coverage work well this these liners. They don't really stick well to low-coverage underwear or synthetic materials.
To me they are identical to any 'commercial' brand but without all the toxins. Strong, lasting, and thin enough for a panty liner. I will always have a pack at home.
I have enjoyed using these liners, they are thin, soft (so they don't chafe), nice and wide, durable (can be worn all day without falling apart too much) and stick well.
This product is a great alternative to the synthetics, the glue however is strange sometimes not sticky and the other times sooo sticky, not stick the same everywhere on the bottom of the pad and when you take it off sometimes would separate the bottom and top of the pad
I don’t know about how they come up with the prices for these things, their pads are R10 more than the liners, usually liners are a lot cheaper than pads. Also they didn’t stay put and they fell apart too quickly for my liking, it felt like I soiled my panties after a while and I wipe with tissue after every wee. But it’s fair to mention that I go to the bathroom quite a bit because I drink lots of water, I’ve never though experienced this with the panty liners I’ve used in the past even with all my visits to the bathroom. I do like their long size though, I’ll keep buying cause they’re probably better for me and the environment.
