With the Banting Blvd Almond & Seed Loaf Premix you can bake an edible, low-carb banting bread loaf for you and your family or friends. It’s added with dessicated Coconut Flour, digestion improving Flax Seeds, vitamin E-rich Sunflower Seeds and Almonds - a source of protein, fibre and magnesium. Banting Blvd is a Cape Town-based brand that produces halaal-friendly certified baking premixes with no palm oil or artificial additives. Bake a loaf, slice it up, serve with a smear of your favourite spread and feel good munching on it.

Directions:

  • Heat the oven to 180℃ and prepare a loaf tin.
  • Whisk together 6 Large Eggs and 250ml Buttermilk (Dairy-free option: replace with 250ml Rooibos Tea and 30ml Olive Oil).
  • Mix in the Seed & Almond Loaf premix and leave to stand for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture into the loaf tin and sprinkle with the Seed Mix.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes. Oven temperatures may vary.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  • Store in the fridge or freeze slices.

  • Store in a cool, dry place.

This is the best banting bread mix I have bought. The texture of the bread is light and even though the has only 1g carbs per slice, it filling and tasty. If you a bread lover and looking for a good substitute on a low carb eating plan ,then this is the best choice.
This is the first Banting bread i've tried and it's excellent. It's expensive for me but a little goes a long way
I have tried a number of these types of bread. This is the best I’ve found. Definitely buying again.
